Biography
Ilham Bensouna is an Assistant Professor of Strategy and Enterprise, specializing in strategy. Her research interest sits at the intersection of strategy, organization theory, and sustainability management. During her PhD, she explored the formation of organizational identity within an innovation intermediary in the construction sector. Following this, she pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at the IREGE laboratory (Universite Savoie Mont Blanc), investigating the corporate social responsibility (CSR) journey of French and Swiss hotels in the hospitality sector. Now in her faculty role, she teaches Strategic Management and leads Management in a Global Context, bridging academic insights with real-world applications in strategy.
Being awarded a grant, she researches sustainable business model innovation in Scotland, further strengthening her industry engagement. She is also supervising a PhD student exploring digital transformation and she has presented her research at leading academic conferences.
