Ian is an Associate Professor in Physical Geography and Leader of Geography Education at Heriot Watt. His research interests relate to holistic flood management, ranging from Natural Flood Management at the catchment scale or Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems in citiies, to flood forecasting and warning systems.
