Dr. Hajar Aman Key Yekani is an assistant professor and a laboratory technician at Heriot-Watt University, Dubai campus. 
Hajar Joined Heriot-Watt in 2019. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Shiraz University in Iran.
Among the projects to which she contributed, two main areas of research were the ones she was interested in the most: Social Cognition and experimental research on reading.
Hajar teaches a variety of psychology and stat-related courses to undergraduates. She also supervises psychology students’ dissertations. She is also in charge of the psychology laboratory and directs students in designing their projects, building experiments, and guides them through the proper use of statistical analysis for their data.
