Gowrie Vinayan, PhD, PMP®, SMC™, SFHEA, is an Associate Professor at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, Malaysia campus. A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), she teaches project management at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels (MSc and MBA).

Her research spans Operations and Production Management, Project Management, Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management, and Women Entrepreneurship. Before transitioning to academia, she gained extensive industry experience in Project Management, Logistics, Warehousing, and Procurement while working for a multinational corporation.

Recognized for her expertise in curriculum development and auditing, she has been appointed as an official auditor for PMI/GAC certification for institutions by PMI, USA. In addition to lecturing, she has designed and conducted training programs on Project Management and strategy execution for working professionals.
