Biography

Gimhan is an Assistant Professor at the School of Energy, Geoscience, Infrastructure and Society, Heriot-Watt University. His expertise includes the broad areas of quantity surveying, project management, megaprojects, system dynamics, and systems thinking. His educational qualifications are as follows:

  • BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management - 2012
  • MSc Construction Project Management - 2013
  • MSc Quantity Surveying - 2015
  • PhD Construction Management - 2021

Roles & Responsibilities

His current role involves the following responsibilities:

Teaching

  • Modules - Cost Control Principles; Cost Modelling and Measurement; Measurement and Cost Evaluation; Shaping Tomorrow Together (A,B), Design Project

    • Baisil Varghese Oommen - A qualitative study on the effects of Artificial Intelligence and Ambient Intelligence in a UAE-based Construction Contracting Organization via application testing in ongoing projects and manufacturing processes
