My research lives within the worlds of heritage, innovation, landscape studies and multi-sensory methods. It uses participatory design methods including co-design, workshopping, visualising and design ethnographic tools to understand and improve the world. Currently, my research focuses on the distrbuted nature of contempoary craft in Scotland using digital/analogue processes to attune to place and landscape.
