Dr. Fabienne Chedid is an Assistant Professor in Operations Management and Logistics at Heriot-Watt University, Dubai Campus. She holds a PhD in Operations and Supply Chain Management from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass), City, University of London. She also holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with early career experience as a structural engineer, where she specialized in designing commercial and residential buildings.

Her primary areas of expertise and research interests include Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Social Network Analysis, Quantitative Business Analysis, Data Analytics, Nested Models, Multivariate Statistics, and Project Management. Her research contributions include publications in the International Journal of Operations and Production Management (IJOPM) and in EurOMA. Her first PhD paper was awarded First Runner-Up for the Harry Boer Award for the best paper authored by a PhD student.

Dr. Chedid has also contributed to executive education, delivering business analytics training to organizations such as Dubai Duty Free and Ex-Military Careers. She held multiple teaching and research positions at prestigious institutions in London, including Bayes Business School, London Business School (LBS), ESCP London, and the University of London. In 2022, she relocated from London to Dubai, where she served as a Senior Lecturer in Business Management and the Program Leader for the MSc Project Management at De Montfort University’s Dubai campus.

In addition, Fabienne received the Middle East Young Women Leaders Award from the Women Leadership Congress. This award recognizes women leaders and high achievers across various sectors, including education, who have made significant contributions to their industries and actively shaped future leaders. Fabienne is also an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA) and an active member of both EurOMA and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
