Research interests
Assistant Professor at Heriot-Watt University Malaysia, a core member of the Electrical department under the School of Engineering. Equipped with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering obtained from Universiti Tenaga Nasional Through my Ph.D., I worked on my project titled “Design of an AC-coupled stand-alone hybrid renewable energy system with an improved control strategy” and developed a deep understanding and technical knowledge on microgrid design, control, sizing and optimization. I have also attended several international conferences and published several papers in international journals. My research interests are in Microgrids, Stand-alone Hybrid Systems, Renewable Energy, Solar PV, Energy Storage, Energy Management Systems, Microgrid Optimization, Artificial Intelligence, and Smart Grids.
