Profile Summary

I'm a PhD candidate and Graduate Teaching Assistant in psychology at Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh, UK), working toward Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy. A member of the Exploring Majority Members' Acculturation (EMMA) lab, my PhD research focuses on how majority members' acculturation relates to psychological growth (creativity and flourishing) and threat responses (prejudice and extremism) among cultural majority-group members. I have presented my research at the International Society of Political Psychology (2024), the European Congress on Positive Psychology (2024) and the UK Culture and Psychology conference (2023; 2024). I am a reviewer for the International Journal of Intercultural Relations and co-author on several research projects external to my PhD investigating the consequences of cultural diversity for majority members.
