Research interests
I studied English and French literature and linguistics at UCLouvain, Belgium, where I minored in gender studies and wrote my master’s dissertation in comparative literature on monstrosity in women’s writing.
My PhD research project looks at contemporary francophone literature set in the Anthropocene. I work on a comparative ecofeminist literary analysis of four novels spanning different genres, observing how they explore the relationships between gender-based oppression and environmental questions through different narrative forms. My focus is on highlighting how literature can inspire change, helping us rethink otherness and challenge binary thinking.
My research interests include Anthropocene and climate fiction, speculative fiction, ecocriticism, ecofeminism, posthumanism, monstrosity, hybridity, gender studies, queer studies, music and film studies.
