Biography

I am an Assistant Professor (Digital Pedagogies and Course Design) within the Learning and Teaching Academy at Heriot-Watt University, working on the Edinburgh campus in Scotland, supporting staff across five global campuses. I have worked in higher education for over eighteen years and within the field of education technology for over twenty years. My interests focus on critical digital pedagogy, inclusion, digital accessibility, creativity and care. I am co-chair of the Association of Learning Technology Northern Ireland members groups, a Senior Fellow of Advance HE (SFHEA), a Senior Certified Member of the Association of Learning Technology (SCMALT) and winner of an Advance HE Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE) 2022.
