Christa's research focus is in sustainability, logistics and human behaviour using operational research, agent-based simulation modelling, and data analytical techniques.

Biography

Christa is an Associate Professor in Business Analytics, Operational Research and Simulation Modelling at the Edinburgh Business School. She is the programme director for the MSc Business Analytics and Consultancy and teaches courses in business and data analytics, while conducting research within the Centre for Logistics & Sustainability.

Christa received her PhD in Industrial Engineering in 2019 at Stellenbosch University, where she currently holds an extraordinary senior lecturer position.
