Biography
Audrey Repetti is an Associate Professor at Heriot-Watt University (Assistant Professor 2018-2023), affiliated with both the school of Mathematical and Computer Sciences, and the school of Engineering and Physical Sciences. She was awarded in 2022 a Fellowship from the Royal Society of Edinburgh, for her works on optimisation for data science. Prior to this, she was a Research Associate with the BASP group (Heriot-Watt University) between 2015 and 2018. She received an MSc degree in applied mathematics, with a major in optimisation, from the Université Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC, Paris VI, France) in September 2011, and a PhD in the field of optimisation from the Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée (France) in June 2015.
Research interests
Audrey's current research interests include optimisation (convex, nonconvex, and stochastic), fixed point algorithms, deep learning theory, Bayesian inference, and applications to high dimensional inverse problems (e.g. computational imaging, statistical graph processing, etc.).
