Research interests
Assemgul is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at TEMET Lab. She earned her PhD in Computer Science from Bournemouth University, where her research focused on complex urban road networks.
Her work spans network science, transport modelling, and data-driven decision-making. She has held research roles at Ulster University, Nazarbayev University and is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Assemgul actively contributes to interdisciplinary collaborations, advancing applications of network analysis in transport and research reproducibility.
