Personal profile

Research interests

My research is focussed on molecular plant-microbe interactions, in particular, the fungal pathogens that cause disease in cereals; Zymoseptoria tritici, Ramularia collo-cygni and Blumeria graminis.  For example, we are identifying host targets of the fungal pathogen of wheat, Zymoseptoria tritici. An improved knowledge of plant-fungal interactions will allow the development of strategies to provide improved crop protection to disease.
