Biography

Dr Airil Yasreen Mohd Yassin is an Associate Professor at the School of EGIS. He teaches structural and water engineering subjects with 21 years of experience in the academia. He obtained a PhD from the Imperial College London in structural engineering and his research focuses have been on computational mechanics and numerical method. He has authored two books on Finite Element Method and published more than fifty research articles. He is a senate member and sits on the university disciplinary committee. He is the former Malaysia campus civil engineering Director of Studies and the past President of the Malaysian Society for Numerical Methods (MSNM).
