My area is human AI collaboration applied to Security and Health.
Multimedia Security, Computer Vision, Immersive environments, HCI, Context aware security and trust management of sensors in cyber physical systems.
Biography
Ryad received his PhD degree in Computer Science and Multimedia Security from Keele University, UK. He was a Digital Forensics and Security Researcher at Forensic Pathways Ltd, UK and a Marie Curie Fellow at Warwick University, UK before joining Leeds Beckett University, UK as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and part-time Lecturer. He was also a lecturer in the School of Computing and Mathematics at Keele University.
He is currently an Associate Professor in Computer Science, Deputy Director of Ethics and Assoc. Director of Academic Quality in the School of Mathematical and Computer Sciences at Heriot-Watt University in Dubai, UAE. He is the co-chair of the International Conference on Information Technology and Applications (ICITA) conference and the Human AI Collaboration (HAIC) AAAI Symposium.
