Description

Upon successful completion, students will have developed critical knowledge and understanding of technology or equipment use and associated human factors in sport and exercise.

This course aims to:
- Develop an interdisciplinary understanding of a technology or equipment used in sport and exercise.
- Develop an ability to critically assess the function and performance of a technology or equipment and human response factors in a sport and exercise context.
- Develop communication skills to effectively communicate interdisciplinary understanding to appropriate audiences (e.g., athlete, industry).

Learning Outcomes:
1. Develop critical interdisciplinary understanding of a technology or equipment performance and human response factors in sport and exercise.
2. Design an interdisciplinary experiment to analyse a technology or equipment and associated human response factors.
3. Undertake and interpret an interdisciplinary experiment to analyse a technology or equipment and associated human response factors.
4. Critically evaluate the function of a technology or equipment in the context of its construction, use, and human response factors.
5. Communicate interdisciplinary findings and implications to an appropriate audience.
