Description

In 2018, Dr Marcus Dunn supported Prof. Alice Roberts’ Royal Institution Christmas Lecture, ‘Who Am I?’. This fun but important project highlighted the role of the Achilles tendon in human evolution to a predominantly young audience. 3D motion capture was used at the Royal Institution to illustrate a concept of running economy and the lecture was aired live on BBC Four (later made available by The Royal Institution), the first-time motion capture had been recorded live outside of a laboratory setting.
