Description

he in-person event will be held at Heriot-Watt University’s Riccarton Campus in Edinburgh on March 27th, 2024. It will feature two keynote speakers: one academic specializing in data science and another sharing their non-academic journey in data science, along with recommendations for those considering a career in the field. Additionally, there will be a workshop aimed at aspiring entrepreneurs interested in developing a business pitch for developing their ideas. A panel discussion titled “Exploring Opportunities and Risks of Generative AI in Education” will be held, featuring student, academic and industry representatives. During the networking and lunch session, there will be an engaging data science trivia session open to all attendees. Registration prior to the event is mandatory for all participants.
