This session explores how feedback can be enabled through the design of feedback itself. Using the Action Feedback Protocol (AFP) as a practical example, we will show how using a feedback system that aligns expectations with practice in clear, action-oriented ways helps students better understand the purpose of feedback, interpret it more effectively, and use it to guide future work. Drawing on implementation experience across several institutions, our own recent research findings and feedback from students, the session will focus on how to design-in feedback literacy to the way we structure feedback itself.
