Description
As the trade union movement celebrates is 150th birthday in the UK, this conference takes the opportunity to look back and the role and influence of the TUC on significant industrial, political and legal developments over the years, and seeks to explore and define what the future role of the UK’s trades union centre will be.
Speakers are drawn from a range of backgrounds and will form 4 panels focusing on different aspects of trades unionism in the UK.
The conference has been organised by TUC North West in conjunction with the Manchester Industrial Relations Society, and is supported by Thompsons Solicitors and UCU – The University and College Union
