Description

A presentation to the Scottish HR Leadership Group (SAADI) about research undertaken and planned surrounding trade unions as representatives of the neurodivergent workforce.

The first part looks previous research conducted with TSSA union, involving research based on building a network of Neurodiversity Champions, and making recommendations for line managers who manage neurodivergent employees.

The second part looks at a recent research project idea, an idea currently under review the ESRC, based on building the capacity of unions to better represent the neurodivergent workforce, but in a manner based on neurodivergent perspectives on power and voice, and based on recognising how gender leads to important differences in how women and men experience employment.
