Description
I was the main organiser of "SIGNS@HWU: Think, Ask, Discover!". This was a one-day event celebrating 30 years of British Sign Language (BSL) at Heriot-Watt University. It brought together current staff and students, young deaf people, alumni, former staff, representatives of community organisations, and members of the wider deaf and signing communities to engage in an exciting and interactive programme. The event was both celebratory and community-focused, highlighting Heriot-Watt’s long-standing commitment to BSL education, research, and engagement.
