Print Your Own Organ
One-off activity for one evening with an external audience (paying public) and five demonstrators. Three of our 3D bioprinters were exhibited to demonstrate a technique for printing human tissues using hydrogels. A slideshow of experimental results was projected and the team of demonstrators demonstrated to visitors of the night how the organ printing technology can be potentially used to create human tissues from renewable stem cell sources for curing diseases such as Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease and Liver failure.
