Delivered a webinar for Maths Week Scotland (the national celebration of mathematics across Scotland) providing senior school pupils with an inspiring introduction to careers in actuarial science. The session covered the journey to becoming a qualified actuary, the range of industries and problems actuaries work on, and the mathematical skills that underpin the profession. Maths Week Scotland reaches tens of thousands of pupils, teachers and members of the public annually, and participation in the programme places Heriot-Watt's actuarial expertise at the heart of Scotland's national mathematics engagement calendar.
