Government as a strategic enabler

Activity: Talk or presentationInvited talk

Description

A review of the interaction between Scottish credit unions and the Scottish Government.
We examine the environment in which credit unions in Scotland operate, concentrating on the development of relationships between credit unions and organisations, which are largely supportive of the sector. While we evaluate the role of the Scottish government in some detail, we emphasise the wider networks from which credit unions benefit. With the focus on Scotland, we largely ignore the relationship between credit unions and the UK government, and also the rapidly changing regulatory landscape.
