Description

I participated as a collaborator in this workshop by hosting a public engagement event and by providing marine life ID training to members of the Ghost Fishing team so that they could record what animals were being trapped in the lost fishing gear and ropes. I collated all the data and made it available to the Global Ghost Gear Initiative citizen science recording scheme as well as using the data for teaching activities in the MSc programme at ICIT, Heriot Watt University Orkney Campus.
