Description

The design process is complex with multiple influences, which all impact upon a students design outcome. This study sought to explore a holistic overview of reflective teaching & learning approaches which may engender "deep learning" Biggs (2012) for all undergraduate interior design students inclusively. This inquiry focused primarily on year 3 direct entry students, whose previous tendancy was to adopt "surface and strategic" "approaches to learning" Marton & Saljo (1976)
