Virtual Reality Worlds – Meet the Experts

Have you ever wanted to experience standing on top of a wind turbine? Come along to Dynamic Earth and meet scientists developing a new kind of virtual reality technology. Experts from Heriot Watt University, Energy Skills Partnership and ORE Catapult are working to develop a ‘hybrid reality’ world that mixes up real and virtual reality worlds. Experience working in the renewable energy sector, by conducting an inspection on the top of a wind turbine, all in the comfort of your head mounted display! You will also have the opportunity to meet and talk to the scientists developing this technology and find out all about how it works, as well as professionals from Energy Skills Partnership to discuss careers in the renewable energy sector.
