Unions 21 will be launching a new paper which will explore the union response to the COVID-19 pandemic, highlighting the new ways that unions are working, what has worked and what has not.

Supported by the Alex Ferry Foundation, the paper explore our evolution in these key areas:

Member engagement (including advice and guidance and comms with members)
recruitment and retention
activism and influencing
representation
union democracy
We will also look at what the challenges will be for 2021 and how we can use what we’ve learnt in 2020 to open up new opportunities for trade unions.

This session will feature Becky Wright, Exec Director Unions 21 and Tom Hunt, Deputy Director of SPERI.
