The coronavirus pandemic has shone a light on the importance of people management. How has the crisis changed management so far and how can HR teams best support and develop people managers to deal with the stress and change to come?

Join our panel of experts to hear how the current crisis is impacting people managers and gain practical tips on how organisations can best support managers during this challenging period and beyond.

Dan Lucy, principal research fellow at the Institute for Employment Studies, will share insight and research on what good looks like in people management and how COVID-19 is impacting managers.

Paula Jordan, group HR director at McCarthy and Stone, will share what her HR team has been doing to support her organisation’s people managers through COVID-19.

And CIPD CEO Peter Cheese will offer an overview of the importance of good people management and insight into how the coronavirus crisis could change how we view management in future.

The session will be chaired by CIPD senior stakeholder lead Katie Jacobs and attendees will have the opportunity to put questions to the panel
