While there are numerous guidelines and literature sources suggesting to ways of dealing with qualitative data and its analysis, there exists no precise formula on “how it’s done!” Qualitative data analysis approaches offer the researcher an opportunity to gain real insight into lived experiences, by placing focus on the social dimensions practiced in their natural settings. Qualitative research methods require the researcher to become a craftsperson, analytical methods cannot simply be learned and mastered through text, they need to be practiced.
