Dr McKenna was an expert panelist for young peoples AI & robotics discussion. During the activity held at Panmure House, secondary school pupils led a series panel discussion around to role of AI in young people's lives, the advantages and concerns about future robots, as well as scrutinising the safety of social media.
As a topic expert panelist, Dr McKenna answered questions on a broad range of topics, ranging from human-robot interaction in the home, to the use of social media for the spread of misinformation.
The target audience for the event was young people, secondary school age and below.
