I am a contributor to the interdisciplinary Ageing Research Network (wattAGE) at Heriot-Watt University, where I organised a joint research seminar between wattAGE and the Research Centre for Urban Studies (RCUS) entitled Understanding Life-Course Experiences of Community Inclusion: the Cases of Mid-Older LGBT+ People and People with Learning Disabilities (19 November 2025). My contributions are grounded in my ESRC-funded PlaceAge research and related work on age-friendly cities, inclusive urban design and social sustainability, strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration and advancing shared research agendas across the University.
