From 2016 to 2019, she served as the Brazilian PI for the ESRC-funded project Place-Making with Older People: Towards Age-Friendly Communities (£808,289), a collaborative initiative between Brazil and the United Kingdom. In this role, she led a research team of 43 members in Brazil.
