12th International Seminar Design 2025

Description

The 12th edition of the PROJETAR International Seminar, held from 14 to 17 October 2025 at the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel), brought together teaching, research, practice and extension in Architecture and Urban Design under the theme “Re-existing in the Contemporary World”. Within this context, I played a central role in the event: I participated as a key speaker at the opening ceremony, served as Chair of the Mitigate axis, and acted as Coordinator of the exhibition Amazon in Perspective: Territory, Voices and Climate. I also coordinated the preparatory meeting for COP30, Voices of Climate Justice, delivered oral presentations of two papers related to the project, Amazon Indigenous Wisdom: Shaping Climate Solutions in Brazil, and contributed as a reviewer of submitted papers. Through these roles, my participation strengthened the seminar’s focus on climate justice, Indigenous knowledge and sustainable development, reinforcing the integration of extension, research and international dialogue within PROJETAR’s interdisciplinary framework.
