At the 12th edition of the PROJETAR International Seminar (14–17 October 2025, Federal University of Pelotas – UFPel, Brazil), I served as the Coordinator and Organiser of the Mitigate axis, leading the conceptual design, academic programme and activities focused on climate justice, sustainable development and climate-responsive practices. In this role, I coordinated thematic sessions, facilitated interdisciplinary dialogue and ensured the integration of climate justice knowledge and applied social research into discussions on architecture, urbanism and climate policy.My activities as Coordinator and Organiser of the Mitigate axis began in January 2025, involving the early conceptualisation of the axis, the definition of its thematic focus on climate justice and sustainable development, and the coordination of academic and organisational arrangements leading up to the 12th edition of the PROJETAR International Seminar. From this point, I worked continuously on programme development, collaboration with partner institutions and alignment of the axis with the broader objectives of the seminar.
